WOW!!

Looking back I feel really bad about the pictures of Chase I posted!!! He looks like a constipated old man :( He really is cuter than that!!!
Since posting last.......Chase is 2, Trent is 4, Kayla is 8 and Hailey is 10.
We bought my childhood home. Got a 1969 VW BUS.
Sean finished his training and is now a Foreman Journeyman Lineman :)
Life is hectic and happy. We hit a stroke of bad luck with stomach bugs, strep throat, almost broken pinkie and now Trent needed stitches on the inside of his upper lip!!! I think I should home school sometimes. He fell off the sit-on scooters in gym (I've always loved those!!) Poor baby was so brave. But I have to say that watching my tough little guy get put through that was one of the worst feelings. I'm going to make my kids wear helmets and body armour pretty soon!!!
I'm in need of a vacation!!!! We are cruising it in a few months, but ugh, it's a few months away.
Maybe Vermont next weekend (at least me and the kiddos). We shall see.
Nothing really exciting, unless you count me beating the first castle in level 7 of Super Mario Brothers!!! I can't stop!!!!

Chase and updates

that is a goofy face but i love it, and its from yesterday!

It's been a little crazy around here. The first two weeks were pretty hard, but now we've got it down. I took all four kids to BJ's yesterday! Chase was 6lbs. 15 oz. and 19 inches when he was born, little peanut. At five weeks he was 10lbs. 1 oz and 22 1/2 inches! Seans Grandma says I have cream not milk! He has so much hair he needs it cut already and he is smiling now!! Trent is so super sweet with him. He's such a rough and tough little guy we were a little worried, but no need. He loves to kiss his baby brother and is oh so soft with him. He did learn a few new things in the last few weeks. He can open all the doors in the house, lovely. Sean found out the hard way, he saw Trent outside sitting on the lawnmower while I was taking a shower! Kayla is being so helpful. Trent is really attached to his big sisters and lights up when Kayla gets home at 1130 from school. She loves her baby baby brother but confessed that she likes them more when they don't eat all the time! Its the hardest on her I think. Hailey fights with us to hold Chase. Her and Sean practically play tug of war with him, but I always win cause he's always hungry, I love nursing! She is doing well in karate, she has her yellow belt and is taking a test tonight. She can flip Sean! I'll have to record it to post when Ihave time again. Kayla cut my hair, we went fishing and had the parade. I know its a lot of pictures, but I don't want you to get cheated out of seeing them.

my pretty kitchen, growing belly and new ring!

So, we painted the cabinets as shown in an older post. Now here are the counters. We also added a breakfast counter. I love love love it! It is so much more me and it just feels so good. Oh, the sink is granite and black and my new facet is so pretty and it has a built in soap dispenser! It was too shiny and bright to take a picture of it. Next up we have my big old belly. I made Sean take this for me last night so I'd have a belly shot. 34 weeks and 5 days! How very super exciting that Chase Cooper Goins will be here soon. You like the middle name? And my new ring! It is beautiful! I loved my original ring, but when you get engaged at 18, you lack the money and options of older people who wait. Now I have a very grown up very large ring that Sean just picked up today! I asked him if we could renew our vows with just the kids in Myrtle Beach so we'll see. Maybe in a few years. But, I love it! The kids are doing very well. Hailey has been doing karate and will be a yellow belt in a few weeks. Kayla finally decided to join something, ANYTHING and wants to do gymnastics. We're on a waiting list, go figure, but should start in 2 weeks. And Trent is finally calming almost. He's been super cuddly lately and although he is driving me crazy, I think it's more my hormones than him. He's happy when he's busy especially outside which is where he is now with Sean, Hailey, Kayla, Jada and Maggie. I love day light savings for that reason alone. I only have a few weeks till the new baby comes and I'm so excited. They want to induce labor at 39 weeks because of my rapid labors, but I'm still not sure. I kind of want my last one to go on his own terms, but I'm sure in 4 weeks I'll be screaming to take him out. I am really enjoying this pregnancy though. If I knew the fourth one would be so good I would have done it a long time ago!! Just kidding! So that is my life at the moment.

Kayla the American Idol

Kayla loves to make up songs for us.

Then Sean is being Paula, the other guy aka Randy and Simon for her critic. Then a little BRIAN Seacrest. It was so cute! Make sure you watch the end, cause Trent makes his singing debut.

i am a sucky blogger

I know I have not been blogging. It's a little crazy here. We painted the cabinets, put in under the counter lights, changed the light fixtures and picked out a counter yet to be put in. I say we, but really it was Sean because the smell was sickening. I have 8 weeks till my due date, yeah! Baby Chase is head down and is a crazy little monkey.

The stripped walls are the main bathroom. Hopefully the counters will be taken care of soon. Those yellow counters are a little much. The apron over my big belly is from Lowe's. We wen't there over the weekend to get stuff for the kitchen, and they were having a children's workshop so we got aprons, goggles and made jewelry boxes. Well I did it with the girls while Sean and Trent went shopping. It was cute. I know it's not a great belly shot, so I'll try and have someone take more of me. I'm always behind the camera. Today is laundry day for me so I need to get back to it. I'll try to keep up a little better. Really

Sunday, January 25, 2009

Winter does have it's moments of fun. We made a little place to sled in the back yard. It's tiny so even Trent can go down! Chocolate chip cookies and hot cocoa make it all that much better. I take Trent and Kayla out almost everyday after lunch, or just Trent before Kayla gets off the bus. It makes him sleepy and he takes a much better nap for me. And now that he's in his own bed, at least for naps and part of the night, we have to tire him out a little more. He's been going to bed around 8 and staying in his room till 1am. I have tried to keep him in there but he wakes up as soon as I leave. It's a work in progress. Anyway, I just wanted to upload pictures of my babies.

coco key water park vacation

We had the weirdest trip ever. We get there, we play it's all good. We leave to have dinner, and Kayla and Trent both fall fast asleep in less than 5 minutes. So we order pizza and go back to the room. At 1:30 in the morning, Sean and I get woken up by the fire/evacuation alarm!!! I go check it out and a water main broke, but we don't have to leave. Ok, so I have the hardest time going back to sleep. So we get up the next day, dilly dally then head to the water park. It's all good. We had so much fun. You can see the picture of the girls going across the floating disks, so cute. Kayla was the smallest kid to go across, GO KAYLA! We go to get towels and there are none! The water main made it so they couldn't do all the laundry!!!! So we freeze back to the room so Trent can take a nap. It's 2:30 at this point. They haven't cleaned our room! So he sleeps for 2 hours while Sean and the girls go to the arcade and then we get up to go to dinner. We go to Friendly's and it's good and fast, until ice cream time. Trent is a little antcy, and the waiter forgets about the ice cream. It took 20 minutes to get our ice cream when it only took 10-15 for the food. Are you kidding? So we go back to the hotel, still no cleaning person has been there!! So we have no towels and neither does the waterpark. So we go to the pool instead. They have no towels either!!! So again we freeze back to the room. I'm starving again, pregnancy and all, so we order room service. The kids finally fall asleep by 10 and I toss and turn all night. I could not sleep good after that alarm going off the night before. So, our last day. Sean's glasses broke. And he is blind. He has his 2 year old ones, so he wears those. We get up and pack up and load up the car. Do express check out and head to the waterpark again. It wasn't as busy because we got there early. We get a good table and go play. We stop for lunch and are just finishing eating, when an employee comes over and tells us we have to evacuate!!! Are you kidding me? So we get out of there. The chlorine levels were way too high, nice. They are giving partial refunds for the day so we go to the front desk, where tons of people are waiting and mad and yikes. Trent has had enough. It's nap time by then. So we just leave before reaching the desk. They emailed me and gave us money back, $105, not bad and $100 off our next visit, if we go back. So we go to Salem, MA. It's such a cute little place. We go to the witch museum and that was a bad idea! They put you in a dark room and use red lights to show different scences from the Salem Witch Trials. Kayla and Trent are beside themselves, so we skip the second half, the meaning of the word witch and take off. We go to Kurt's mall to meet up with him and I force Sean to get new glasses at Lenscrafters. Of course our eye doctor is not open because it's a weekend, but they read his perscription off his sunglasses and get started on a new pair for him. His old ones were so bad he was getting a headache and couldn't read road signs, not good when driving home at night!! We see Kurt, have dinner, go to Build-A-Bear while we wait for Sean's glasses. Then we go to Kurt's apartment. It is cute and really comfy. It makes you feel at home. We leave there at 10pm. The kids pass out in the car, and as soon as we stop so I can pee yet again, I'm out too. Poor Sean! We get home just after midnight and man do I love my bed. We all sleep so good. The first few days back to school were a little hard. Still on vacation mode, we all slept till 8am and the girls have to get on the bus at 8:18. So I drove them. It's funny but we did have a good time. When we were playing at the waterpark, pool and arcade all was great. And we collected 1100 tickets, yeah, so we got lots of junkie little toys to take home, my favorite.
